Hosting Your Data

All your content is stored within our secure hosting environment. The following explains the hosting environment, which provides the best security, privacy and redundancy possible.

MyHeartwill is hosted with MediaTemple (mt) which is based in the United States. Our servers are mirrored between two locations – one in Virginia and the other in California. A redundant, private Fiber connection is in place between the data centers. This connection provides extremely low latency network operations between both facilities and a secure communication link.

The servers themselves have:

- N+2 redundancy backup power
- N+2 redundant cooling system
- 24/7 monitored fire suppression
- 24/7 armed security

When you upload your content to MyHeartwill it is converted into a display format. This dispay format is optimized for suitable viewing on the website. The viewing copy of the content that sits on the MyHeartwill server is backed up daily and copies kept in two locations.

The original content you upload is also kept within our hosting eco-system. We archive the original format of the content onto servers provided by Amazon S3. You can retrieve your original files by contacting us. We also take another physical copy backup of the originals to provide yet another level of security.

Securing Your Login

Your MyHeartwill.com account login and password is protected using a 512bit encrypted hash. This encryption protects your personal information on the server.

Security Certificate

MyHeartwill.com has a security certificate provided by Thawte. This security certificate means that any critical information, such as your credit card details, are heavily encrypted when transferred between you and our website.
